The Right answers are not always the REAL answers!

Join Bobbye and Tonilee for an open, honest, out-of-the-box series designed to deal with the real life issues that women are facing today. We are taught, told and even traumatized by all of the right things we should do. Many of us already know the right answers and can articulate them quite clearly to ourselves and to others. How nice! But, how often are we told the real answers, especially as Christians. Does God give us the right answers or the real answers? How are we to know the difference? The bottom line for us as women: we need to find peace; we need to see positive changes; and we need to find the freedom to go forward, not to remain in fear, doubt and confusion.

We are going to discuss 4 major “D’s” in our lives as women:

Debt                            Not just money debt but debt as in “you owe something”. Debt is associated with guilt, shame and condemnation. Debt involves a payback of some kind. Debt involves owing someone or something a part of yourself. Debt is bondage, captivity and a loss of freedom. Let’s talk about DEBT in real terms and find real answers. Results: Freedom, Victory, and Hope.

Death                          Not just physical death but chronic sickness, lethargy, complacency, anger, hopelessness and potential for life changes. Death is final yet never seems to end. Death is darkness and despair. Death can be physical, spiritual and emotional. Are you alive physically yet feel dead inside? What is causing these real life issues? Let’s find real answers. Results: Life renewed, Power and New Vision/goals.

Divorce                        Not just marital divorce but feeling cut off, separated, put away, worthlessness, and loneliness. Divorce is devastating to families but who is guilty? Divorce is deeper than anyone realizes and leaves wounds, scars and marks upon women that destroy their futures. The right answers are frequently discussed and questioned. Is it biblical? Is divorce forgiven or cursed by God? Are their different circumstances for allowance of it? What about sex, sexual sins, or the desires for it?  Let’s talk REAL answers and not just the right ones. Results: Health, Wholeness, and Love.

Depression                  Not just emotional depression but the battles of darkness, spiritual warfare, defeat, and hopelessness. Depression is debilating and destructive. Are drugs okay to take? Is counseling necessary? How do we know what to do about this very serious life issue? Let's talk honestly and openly. Let's help each other. Results: Hope, Encouragement and Guidance.
